How are you doing right now… during this strangest and most uncertain time – globally – in our lifetime?

It is overwhelming to know there is a contagion sweeping the globe.

Perhaps you are still coming to terms with what is happening.

Possibly you are in lockdown– or quarantined?

Maybe you are still rallying against what is happening?

It’s a lot to take in, and with more restrictions daily, and more global coverage, it can be so hard to know what is ahead. The good news is that we know these things can help lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic;

  1. washing your hands,
  2. staying home and,
  3. keeping physical distance from others.

We also know that keeping your mind focused on the present can help.

Mindfulness, the practice of focusing your attention on the present moment, can reduce fear and anxiety.  It can bring a calmer, and kinder, mind.

It is time to clean out the pockets of worry or unhelpful thoughts that may be crippling us right now and focus on what we can do and what we can control.

Whether you are experienced in mindfulness, an absolute beginner, or just wish to distract yourself from the news cycle– this is the place for you. You don’t need to be a particular person to learn mindfulness. You do not need a dedicated meditation space, a long beard or yoga pants!

What you do need: Roughly 10 minutes a day to start each morning with a new focus. We provide the theme, you just turn up, on your computer or phone.

If you have a printer you can colour in the beautiful hand-drawn mandalas created by artist Grace Cuell. If you don’t have a printer you can colour them online. Or you don’t have to colour them at all!
